Terms and Conditions of Service

This Agreement governs your use of the Geocoding API Service (the "API"), owned and operated by My Maps Inc. By accessing or using the API, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the API.

1. License & Scope of Use

My Maps Inc. grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the API for any legal purpose. All code, design, and content are the sole property of My Maps Inc.

You may use, export, or publish the geocoded results generated through the API for any purpose, so long as such usage conforms to all applicable license terms and laws.

You may not:

Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the API.
Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the API or any part of it.
Attempt to bypass, disable, or otherwise interfere with security or payment systems.

2. Subscriptions & Payments

Access to the API requires a free or paid subscription (billed monthly in the case of a paid subscription). Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled before the renewal date. If you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.

If a payment fails or is missed, we will downgrade your subscription to the "free" plan. We may offer a brief grace period at our discretion. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

3. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the API for any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activities, or for any purpose in violation of applicable laws and regulations.

You agree not to create duplicate accounts for malicious purposes or to abuse the API in such a way that circumvents any restrictions or limitations based on your subscription plan (e.g., the number of API requests permitted according to your subscription plan).

4. No Warranty & Limitation of Liability

The API is provided "as is" without warranties of availability, uptime, fitness for a particular purpose, or otherwise. My Maps Inc. is not liable for any damages, losses, or claims resulting from your use or inability to use the API to the fullest extent permitted by law.

5. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violations of this Agreement or for non-payment. This Agreement remains in effect until terminated by either you or My Maps Inc.

6. Privacy

General: We never share or sell customer information, and we strive to ensure the platform is as secure as possible.
Newsletter Emails: We sometimes send an email "newsletter" with updates related to the API. You can unsubscribe from this at any time.
Cookies & JavaScript: Cookies and JavaScript are required for the technical operation of the API Website (but not for direct calls to the API). Without either of these features enabled, you may not be able to create or manage an API account.
Third-Party Cookies: We use Cloudflare as a CDN ("Content Delivery Network"); Google Analytics and FullStory to help us understand how our customers interact with the API, so we can improve the service; and Stripe for subscriptions and payment processing.
Billing / Credit Card: We use Stripe, the leader in digital subscription payments, for managing subscriptions and billing. No credit card details are stored on our servers, and we never have access to your sensitive credit card information. If you subscribe to our service, you may see the charge on your card as "Geocode.Maps.Co", "My Maps Inc Geocoding", "My Maps Inc", "Maps.co", or a similar name.
Account Deletion: You may request that your account and all associated data be deleted by emailing the address below. Please include the email address of the account to be deleted and ensure that you have saved or exported any data you need from the account prior to requesting deletion.

7. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
